Drift fishing

Cam for drift fishing

Drift fishing is done from a boat, which, with its engine switched off, is anchored to the seabed or left to drift with the currents

Unlike trolling, drift fishing is a much quieter form of sport fishing that also requires careful study of the seabed by means of nautical charts and echo sounders.

These are ideal conditions for the Hook-Eye underwater camera which is designed to fully record the seabed with authentic and realistic footage thanks to its capacity for full HD and all the other features that make it a unique underwater camera of its kind.

The camera can be used down to a depth of 180 metres and is therefore perfect for all drift fishing techniques: coastal, medium depth and deep sea.

The patented attachment system allows the cam to slide onto any type of line without the need for knots, so that one is not forced to cut the line in order to retrieve the camera.

The video camera can record full HD video for three consecutive hours and also features an integrated LED lighting system that automatically switches on and off according to light conditions.
